The Process

Initial Enquiry

Get in touch with some details about your project, including its size, location and any useful drawings, plans or reference photographs you may have. Once I have an understanding of the project, I can provide a quotation tailored to your requirements.

I can also discuss options such as return visits for dusk photography, additional usage requirements and timescales.

Planning the Shoot

Once the quote has been accepted, I can either liaise directly with the homeowner, occupier or site manager, or continue to arrange everything through you if preferred.

Together, we'll agree a suitable date for the photography. Whenever possible, I like to work around favourable weather conditions to ensure the project is shown at its very best. For projects with flexible timescales, it's often helpful to earmark a week rather than a single day, allowing some flexibility should the weather forecast change.

Photographing the Project

On the day of the shoot, I work carefully and considerately around the people using the building, keeping disruption to a minimum.

I take time to ensure each space is presented at its best, moving furniture or smaller items where necessary and always returning everything to its original position afterwards. While lived-in spaces naturally have character, a little decluttering can often help create cleaner and more timeless photographs.

My aim is always to capture the project in a way that showcases the design, materials and atmosphere of the space.
