West Bridgeford kitchen extension – interior shoot

This interior photography shoot in West Bridgford documented a recently completed home extension and refurbishment.

The project had opened up the downstairs of the property to create a much larger kitchen and dining area, with a new kitchen and a more open-plan living space. The aim of the photography was to capture the layout, finishes and details of the completed work.

The extension created a bright, practical space that connected the kitchen, dining and living areas, making much better use of the ground floor.

The weather was less cooperative outside, with a wet and overcast day limiting the opportunities for exterior photography, so the focus was very much on the new interior.

There was also an unexpected addition to the shoot — the resident cat, who seemed quite happy to wander through the photographs and provide a little modelling of its own.
