I recently spent a half-day working as a Nottingham headshot photographer with the team at Eden PR, capturing a mix of natural and professional imagery for their business.

Based in the Lace Market in Nottingham, Eden PR’s office provided a great starting point for the shoot. We began with some relaxed, documentary-style photography during a team meeting—nothing staged, just natural interactions and genuine moments. This approach works really well for businesses wanting to show personality and authenticity in their branding.

Alongside the candid images, we also created a series of more structured group photos around the Lace Market. It’s a brilliant area for this kind of work, with plenty of character and variety in a small space. The mix of textures, architecture and light gives a nice range of backdrops without needing to travel far.

For individual headshots, I worked with team members in pairs, taking short walks to a few nearby locations. This kept things efficient while also giving each person a selection of different looks to choose from. It also helps people feel a bit more relaxed compared to a more formal studio setup.

Overall, the aim was to create a set of images that felt consistent, approachable and professional—something that reflects the personality of the team as well as the Eden PR brand.
