NOTTINGHAM COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHER

I recently carried out a photography shoot for the Ned Ludd, creating a collection of images for their new website and marketing.
The brief was to capture a mix of menu photography alongside more general imagery that reflects the atmosphere and character of the pub itself. Rather than going down a highly styled or overly polished route, the focus was on keeping everything natural and true to the environment — showcasing the food exactly as customers would experience it.
The menu features a range of classic pub dishes, all presented with a modern touch. For the shoot, each dish was styled simply on tables within the pub, using the existing light and surroundings to maintain a sense of authenticity. This approach helps the images feel warm, inviting, and genuine, rather than staged or artificial.
Alongside the food photography, I also captured a selection of wider shots to help tell the story of the venue — giving a sense of the interior, layout, and overall atmosphere. These images help to support the website visually, offering potential customers a better idea of what to expect when they visit.
The end result is a set of images that not only showcase the menu but also reinforce the welcoming, down-to-earth feel of the pub.
